Global Corporate Holiday Card
My Role: Integrated Designer, Motion Graphics, Print Production Coordinator
When developing the JLL corporate holiday card, I faced the challenge of designing for print, digital, and social media sharing across various languages. Flexibility was crucial. My goal was to create a holiday graphic that went beyond traditional symbols and represented a global company whose definition of the holidays is as diverse as the employees and the customers they serve. With nearly 100,000 employees and over 2 million social media followers, I aimed for inclusivity, recognition, and inspiration.
I chose a snow globe as a medium to connect the audience with JLL's core product, commercial real estate. The cityscape in the snow globe extended beyond the frame in a continuous forward-moving loop when animated. Using varying shades of color, alternating between fill and stroke, and layering added depth and balance, inviting exploration. To avoid overwhelming the design, I limited the color palette, maintained consistency, and kept animations simple. This also provided an excellent opportunity to showcase and remind our audience of the new JLL brand. The graphic was designed in a scalable square grid and vector format, accommodating the addition of multilingual copy and logos. Overall, this project demonstrated that corporate branding can be fun and engaging.
